The film takes place at an undetermined point in the future, when humanity has developed advanced robotic technology with enhanced artificial intelligence. This includes the use of cybernetic organisms (or cyborgs) for general labor. For unknown reasons, the machines instigate a cybernetic revolt against humanity, bombing cities and sending thousands of armed, identical TR-4 cyborgs to eradicate all human life. A band of survivors, led by small-town Sheriff Reed (A Martinez), locates a functioning shuttle and flies to an orbiting space station in an effort to find a way to shut down the TRs remotely.

Idayakanni (Aadhi) falls in love with Anjali (Poorna), daughter of a teacher. Several songs and dances later, our hero discovers that Anjali's father is minister Thillanayagam (Suresh) whose has ambition is become a chief minister. And for this he plays mind games to win over his adversaries in politics. He also plans to use his daughter by getting her married to a powerful politician's son to come closer to the chief minister's post. But her relationship with Idayakanni spoils the game. Now Thillanayagam is bent upon playing a game to change his daughter's mind without making her suspicious. He doesn't want to get into controversy. But our hero is game for it and he gives him fitting reply at each and every step. The predictable climax shows how our hero triumphs. Vijay Prakash has tried hard to make it an interesting film. But the fact that he has blatantly restored to the cliches mars his efforts. The opening scene, the romance, the depiction of families, and the songs timings are too predictable to excite viewers. However, the second half, where the mind games strategy is in full swing, is interesting. Sundar C Babu's music has nothing special except one melodious duet. But his background score is effective. Poorna looks good and carries her role without any problem. Aadhi has proved that he is fit to step into the shoes of a mass hero. His dancing and fighting are laudable. Suresh as villain is the surprise package as the veteran actor has done a very good job. Other seasoned actors including Ravichandran, K.R. Vijaya, and Prabhu (as Aadhi's family members) do their part well and complete the happy family picture.

In the opening scene, Siddhant Dheer (Sanjay Dutt), the head of the Anti-Terrorist Cell (a fictitious organisation), narrates how rampant terrorism has become in the world and goes on to tell the story of 7 hardest days in his life. The ATC has a tip off about an impending terrorist attack on the 10th May, targeting 20-25 thousand people. The man behind the plan is one Jamwaal, a Keyser Söze who is feared by politicos and the law alike. The only piece of information, known about the impending attack is the codeword "JEET". Siddhant starts an unofficial investigation against Jamwaal. A goon named Altaf is arrested in connection to the case. ETC, ETC......

The film highlights the economics behind running an Indian mafia organization. In the opening of the film, Ajay Devgan describes the modus operandi of underworld. He states “Despite anybody telling anything else, in this world everything is done for profit, so is this business. We don’t pay taxes, neither do we keep accounts; For this work is done by inducing fear. Anybody can join us anytime, but can never resign. Whoever breaks our law, is broken by us. Here friendship, respect or honesty, the only real reason behind all these is same thing — Profit”. During murder / extortion scenes following, Ajay Devgan adds “profit happens — like this, like this or like that”.

The Story is about Raghava is a hot-blooded and restless youth who cannot tolerate injustice that is being done in the society. In the process, he picks up fight with local mafia leader Ankineedu. Ankineedu stabs Sirisha the ladylove of Raghava to death. He also issues an ultimatum to Raghava's parents to leave the city in few hours. The vexed parents ask Raghava to accompany them only if he agrees to listen to their words. They take Raghava to Mantralayam a relatives place and make him become a devotee of Lord Raghavendra Swamy. This entire episode comes as flashback. Raghava has a pretty sister-in-law called Maha Lakshmi in Mantralayam. Raghava becomes a saint-like-man and does not even respond when some goons humiliate Maha Lakshmi. He does not bother to retaliate even when goons strip Maha Lakshmi off of her cloths in public. The parents of Raghava who forcibly restricted the helping nature of Raghava ask Raghava to get rid of his maala and go back to society to serve people. The rest of the story is about how Raghava retaliates and puts an end to the lives of villain gang
