Bhaag Milkha Bhaag (2013) Hindi Movie | DVDSCR

The film starts in the 1960 Olympic Games in Rome, where a coach says “Bhaag Milkha Bhaag!”, and the story is taken back to memories of the childhood days of a young boy which haunted him, resulted in him dropping to fourth. The partition caused chaos which resulted in war with the locals of Punjab in Pakistan, killing the parents of Milkha Singh (Farhan Akhtar). He reaches Delhi and later meets his sister there. Milkha soon makes friends and survives by stealing with his friends. He falls in love with Biro (Sonam Kapoor) but she asks him to live a life of honesty. Milkha finally finds himself in the army where he gets noticed by a Havaldar (Sergeant) after he wins a race in which top 10 runners will get milk, two eggs and excuse from exercise. He gets selected for service commission where he gets miffed and also gets beaten up by senior players whom he had defeated earlier, on the day before selection of Indian team for Olympics. In spite of being injured he still participates in the race, overcomes his pain and wins the race. His coach tells him that he has broken the national record. In the Melbourne Olympics he gets attracted to the granddaughter of his Australian technical coach, and after a night in a bar he sleeps with her. He loses the race, beats himself up and on the way back to India asks his coach to tell him what the world record for the 400m race is. He trains hard with a firm determination and wins in several places. Then Jawaharlal Nehru convinces him to lead the Indian team to Pakistan for friendly races. In Pakistan he misses the press conference and goes to his village where in a flashback it is shown how his parents were murdered and the last words of his father were “Bhaag Milkha Bhaag!” He starts crying and is confronted by a boy who turns out to be his childhood friend’s son. In the games, the Pakistani favorite is winning, when Milkha comes, overtaking opponents one by one,taking a convincing lead and winning the race and respect of both nation’s people. The Pakistani commander then gives him the title “The Flying Sikh”.

When Sanju (Emraan Hashmi), a suave, master safe cracker wants to retire from a career in crime, he decides to team up with two dangerous criminals to commit one last heist. Tony (Bobby Deol), works as a hit-man for gangster, Vikas Patil (Ashish Vidyarthi), who owes his allegiance to wealthy Raj Mallya (Kabir Bedi). Raj Mallya is involved in marketing spurious and out-dated drugs, and as a result is the subject of an investigation by the Food & Drugs Administration's inspector Dr. Hargobind Gosai (Mohan Joshi). Raj asks Vikas to take care of Hargobind through Tony, which Tony does, and in this manner, Raj is absolved of all wrongdoing. Then Tony meets with attractive starlet named, Sapna (Priyanka Chopra), and falls head over heels in love with her. When Sapna tells him that she is engaged to be married to Dr. Ajay Saxena, he is heart-broken. Then a scandal breaks out, and Hargobind is implicated in the deaths of three children that were killed by Raj's spurious drugs. All the evidence points against Hargobind, and not a single lawyer is willing to take his case; his wife kills herself, and the marriage of his daughter has been canceled. Then Tony finds out that Hargobind is none other than Sapna's dad – and he has ruined the only chance he had for marrying the girl of his dreams.

K. Jhunjhunwala would like to locate his missing/runaway daughter, Seema Malhotra, so that he can get her married to Nitin Dharampal; Prominent businessman, Mahindra, would like to negotiate with his daughter, Sonu's kidnappers, and secure her release. And the Central Bureau of Investigation would like to protect the life of Chief Minister Gayetri Bachchan under the mission code-named "Maa", and the CBI Officer in Charge to be code-named "Baadshah". Now Baadshah happens to be a bumbling and out of work Private Investigator, who has agreed to assist Jhunjhunwala and Mahindra, and while doing so is mistaken for the CBI Agent, ends up working for the assassins, and must assassinate Gayetri or end up losing his team of four fellow-bumblers, and Mahindra's daughter. What results is hilarious chaos, with no one knowing what the other is doing, and each one being each other's suspect(s). To make matters worse Jhunjhunwala is not really Seema's dad, but someone else with an ulterior motive.

The Indian army is working on Project Milaap – a project designed to end the long-lasting conflict between India and Pakistan. Indian prisoners will be released from Pakistan and Pakistani prisoners will be released from India, culminating in a friendship between the two countries. General Amar Singh Bakshi (Kabir Bedi) and Brigadier Shekhar Sharma (Naseeruddin Shah) both wish to see Project Milaap turn into a reality. However, dreaded terrorist Raghavan (Sunil Shetty), an ex-army member who lost his place in the army for killing innocent Pakistanis, will do anything to stop this project – he has a grudge against Pakistan ever since his son was murdered in Kashmir. When Raghavan and his men attack the General, they are stopped by Major Ram Prasad Sharma (Shah Rukh Khan), the son of Shekhar Sharma. Shekhar is shot while saving the General. On his deathbed, he tells Ram that he has another son named Lakshman (Zayed Khan), Ram's half-brother, and a wife Madhu (Kirron Kher), both of whom left him when he committed adultery 20 years ago, the result of which was Ram. Shekhar's last wish is for Ram to unite the family and bury his ashes with Lakshman and Madhu.

Raghavan is targeting General Bakshi's daughter Sanjana (Amrita Rao), so he sends Ram to her college in Darjeeling to protect her, having him pose as a student who is returning to complete his unfinished education. Ram agrees, especially when he learns that Madhu and Lakshman live in that town and that Lakshman is also a student at the college. At the college, Lakshman is better known as Lucky, the most popular student; he is best friends with the tomboyish Sanjana, who is in love with him. At first, Ram does not realise that Lucky is in fact his brother. After Ram learns who Lucky is and saves his life, he earns both Lucky and Sanjana's friendship. Ram also falls in love with the new chemistry teacher, Chandini (Sushmita Sen), who eventually returns his feelings. When Raghavan sends one of his men, Khan, to shoot Sanjana's friend, Ram stops Khan and arrests him to interrogate him. Ram begins living at Lucky's house as a paying guest and soon forms a special bond with Lucky and Madhu while hiding his true identity.

When Sanjana changes her tomboy image, Lucky realises he is in love with her. Raghavan invades the college, masquerading as a teacher to get close to Ram and Sanjana. Madhu and Lucky learn about Ram's true identity and throw him out of the house – just as he leaves, he tells them about Shekhar's death. When Ram hears that Raghavan has taken the college students hostage, he confronts Raghavan. Khan realises that Ram was right all along and stands on his side. Ram manages to save everyone, while Raghavan kills Khan when he learns of his betrayal. Ram and Raghavan engage in a lengthy fight, during which Project Milaap successfully takes place. Ram reveals that he has taken the pin out of one of Raghavan's grenades. As Ram escapes with Lucky's help, Raghavan dies in the explosion. Ram reconciles with Lucky and Madhu, and the two brothers grant their father's final wish. Also, Lucky finally graduates and the end credits take place during the graduation carnival.

Thiruvambadi Thamban (Jayaram) hails from a family that have been supplying elephants for temple processions for years. Lakhan Singh (Sonu Sood), also called "Lucky," is the "kinng" of the Australian underworld.He is accompanied by his Sikh mafia associates, Julie (Neha Dhupia), Mika (Jaaved Jaffrey), Pankaj Udaas (Yashpal Sharma), Raftaar (Sudhanshu Pandey), Dilbaugh Singh (Manoj Pahwa) and Guruji Gurbaksh Singh (Kamal Chopra). In a small village in Punjab, the birthplace of Lucky, lives another Sikh- Happy Singh (Akshay Kumar). Happy, though good at heart has unintentionally caused many problems in the village, and the villagers are fed up with him. They decide to send Happy on a long trip to Australia with his friend Rangeela (Om Puri) to bring Lucky back to Punjab, which will keep Happy out of the village for some time and bring peace to the village.

But at the airport, Happy's and Rangeela's tickets to Australia are accidentally exchanged with that of Puneet (Ranvir Shorey) who was to fly to Egypt. In Egypt, Happy helps Sonia (Katrina Kaif) and falls deeply in love with her. But he does not express his love to her. Leaving her behind, he heads to Australia to meet Lucky. Lucky refuses to return to his hometown and throws Happy and Rangeela out of his house. Penniless, Happy finds warmth and affection in an elderly lady (Kirron Kher) who provides him with food in spite of being a stranger.

Lucky winds up in hospital, paralyzed, after a series of violent incidents that Happy causes. (In one of these incidents, his head is bumped severely, and the trauma from the resultant concussion is what paralyzes him.) Happy unexpectedly receives the title of Kinng. The lady who helped Happy is really worried and depressed as her daughter is returning from Egypt with her wealthy boyfriend, Puneet. The daughter does not know that after the death of her father years ago, her mother became poverty-stricken and was reduced to work as a flower seller. Happy gives her Lucky's spacious house and makes all his mafia associates work under her.

The lady's daughter arrives—and to Happy's horror, she is none other than Sonia. Happy, heart-broken, is forced to make a show of happiness to Sonia. Puneet says that he too would have had a good time with Happy and Sonia in Egypt had his ticket to Egypt not been exchanged in the airport, because of which he had ended up in Australia. Puneet had always been jealous of Sonia being with Happy. However, he doubts something going on between them.

Meanwhile, after spending so much time with the kindhearted Happy, most of Lucky's gang members find themselves reformed and decide to become good.

In spite of herself, Sonia falls in love with Happy—and the truth becomes difficult to hide. Sonia becomes aware of her poverty. Puneet sets his heart to marry Sonia. Sonia gets trapped in an emotional tug-of-war between Puneet, who loves her, and Happy, whom she loves.

Puneet meets Mika, who is also the brother of the Kinng, and who agrees to kill Happy. Puneet's motives to kill Happy, however, differ from Mika's: Puneet wants to kill Happy to keep Sonia away from him, whereas Mika wants to kill Happy to make himself Kinng.

The wedding day dawns and there is firing. Happy takes Sonia in order to save her and unknowingly both run around the fire seven times essentially getting married. (During all this, Lucky's head is bumped, and the trauma-induced paralysis he had suffered from is relieved.) Suddenly, Mika turns up on the spot, ready to kill Happy, armed with a gang and his new special glasses and hearing aid. As he is about to shoot, Lucky steps up and stops him. Then a dialogue ensues between Mika, Happy, Lucky and the associates of the kinng. Then Happy tells him that being the "king" is no great thing and explains him the characteristics of a true Sikh. Lucky confesses that he always found sadness being Kinng, because a true king does not fight for himself, but for others. Overcome with remorse, Mika drops his revolver. The movie ends happily, with Happy and Sonia's marriage.

Lucky (Gippy Grewal) is a quintessential male! Living his youth, making women run for him, multi-timing and what not. He would say that it comes from his concern for women. His logic is that he doesn’t want to become the boring and lifeless man that his married friends had become. He would like to give women a good time every time he meets them. But for that, he must have a good time himself and the catch is, he doesn’t believe a man can have a prolonged good time with one single woman. That till he meets Seerat (Surveen Chawla). Seerat was the first girl in his life to have knocked the doors of his heart and not of his bedroom. And in an instant, he was ready to change for her. Only, the ghosts from his past keep coming back to haunt him and create dents in Seerat’s trust for him and the more he does to win back her trust, sillier things happen to make the dent only bigger. It all reaches a stage where Seerat stops taking his calls and leaves him by himself; even threatening to call the wedding off. Now Seerat was a girl who knows how to have her way in this world dominated by men. She deals in love but makes sure the deal is profitable. She likes Lucky solely because of HER effect on him. She met him and he changed. Call it ‘his luck’, call it ‘her love’, it made Lucky a better guy. Troubles begin when she realizes that Lucky might not have changed that much after all.
