Chinna (Sumanth) is born in jail to a convict mother who dies during childbirth. The Jailer (Chandra Mohan) feels sorry for Chinna and adopts him. He brings up Chinna along with his son, Sanjay (Rajiv Kanakala) and daughter. In a dramatic situation, Chinna kills the Jailer’s brother and is put in jail. Upon release, the jailer and his family tell Chinna to stay away from them. So Chinna moves into a rough neighborhood that happens to be under the control of the local mafia there. He overpowers the mafia there eventually and becomes a protector for the people there. A clerk in the commissioner’s office (Charmy Kaur) enters as a co-tenant in Chinna's house. Love sprouts between them. However, she mistakenly assumes that Chinna is a soft natured guy. She's unaware of his reputation in that locality nor of his murderous past. Their relationship breaks when she finally discovers the truth about Chinna. How do they get back together? Why did Chinna kill the jailer’s brother? Will Chinna become a part of the jailer’s family again? All these questions are answered towards the end when the shocking truth is revealed by the Jailer's wife

 Sumanth is a dynamic graduate who mingles with his ex-college students. His lifetime ambition is to become a cop. He wants to become cop genuinely without giving any bribes. He befriends a beautiful girl Lakshmi (Saloni), who happens to be the daughter of honest and most powerful Police Commissioner Mahesh Chandra (Mukesh Khanna). Sumanth and Lakshmi become best buddies over a period of time. Sumanth gets fed up with bribery system in police selections and he decides to start a musical instruments shop to make a living.Mahesh Chandra then convinces Sumanth to act as undercover police agent to book dangerous goons in the city. Sumanth pretends as rowdy and give leads of other rowdies to Mahesh Chandra. Mahesh Chandra's plan is to have open jail for all these goons and rehabilitate them as good citizens. Just when Sumanth completes getting 50 rowdies to the book, Mahesh Chandra does the act of turning around. He books Sumanth as 51st rowdy as an act of revenge for attracting his daughter. The rest of the story is all about how Sumanth proves himself innocent and get back to Lakshmi.

Pourudu (2008) Hindi Dubbed Movie

Ajay (Sumanth) completes his degree and gets ready for IPS examination. His father Pandu (Suman) works under local mafia don zakeer Bhai (Nassar). Kasi (Kota Srinivasa Rao) runs a rival gang in the same city opposite zakeer Bhai. Though Pandu behaves like a goon, Ajay concentrates on his studies and reaches to the stage of completing IPS preliminaries. At the same time, he is an expert in martial arts. Samyukta (Kajal Agarwal) is a student of a dance school and she falls in love with Ajay. At this juncture, Hussain (Subbaraju) takes charge as CI and he wants to nab Jakeer Bhai, Pandu and Kasi but could not do so due to their political influence. Once, Pandu thrashes Kasi's son and his men attack the former. Ajay, who is there at the scene, involves in the fight and saves his father. Hussain arrests both Pandu and Ajay. Accidentally, Pandu comes to know that Jakeer Bhai is a mafia don and is not a gentleman as he is expecting. Jakeer Bhai gets Pandu killed by Kasi and his son. Ajay quits his ambition to become an IAS officer and with the help of Hussain takes revenge against Kasi, his son and also Jakeer Bhai, who is the mastermind behind Pandu's death. Hussain makes everyone believe that all those, who are killed by Ajay died in a mafia gang war and helps Ajay to attend the IAS main exams as he wishes. The film ends on a happy note with the union of Samyukta and Ajay.
