Shankar Narayana(Prakash Raj) is a honest man and is driven by pure and idealistic values, he cares very much about people than himself. Seeing his ideals, the people of his constituency elect him as an MLA. He wins in the Political Tsunami created by Late NTR. As he is a fan of NTR, but still he remains to be single and does not want to join NTR's party. His followers are his Brother(Rajiv Kanakala), and Sayaji Shinde, Supreet forms another. Shankar Narayana meets up with an accident. After years, Ajay(MAHESH BABU) is a sincere and Dashing cop, he is on a mission to catch the underworld Don Nayak(Sonu Sood) who is involved in Drug business, extortion, illegal arms, etc. Ajay maintains a low profile to catch Nayak until he catches Nayak's brother Bunty(Abhimanyu Singh) in Turkey on a under cover mission. He finds Prashanthi(Samantha), and is in love at very first sight. Prashanthi is none another than daughter of Ajay's superior in Police department (Nazar). Then the whole drama shifts to Hyderabad. Meanwhile, Shankar Narayana is alive and returns from coma, but still people think he is dead.His son creates that kind of world where his father is kept happy by using Brahmanandam and others. The movie takes interesting plot post interval as the main plot is revealed to story. Nayak is not only a mission for Ajay but is much more in case of a revenge. How is Mallesh (Kota Srinivas Rao), Meka(Sayaji Shinde) and Supreet are involved in betrayal, what is Ajay's actual plan. Will Ajay kill Nayak or Shankar Kills nayak. Will Shankar know the true world. Will Ajay marry Prashanthi.

The film starts with floods at Ranga sai pet in Warangal District. Houses, trains and people inundate in flood water and Siddharth, (Mahesh Babu) a young man saves the people up to his maximum effort. Eight of his friends assist him in the rescue activity. On the other hand Chief Minister (Kota Srinivasa Rao) recommends the candidature of Pappu Yadav (Irfan Khan), for Assembly Elections. Pappu Yadav is a goonda who wishes to earn big through politics and power. To get the attention of people Pappu Yadav announces a sum of Rs.5 Crore for flood victims.The food that needs to reach the victims of the flood is taken elsewhere to be sold out, an illegal way of earning money by selling the food and as well backing up the flood relief fund into the pockets of the politicians. Siddharth gets to know this through one of his friend and saves the stock in time and take it to the flood victims for distribution.This annoys Pappu Yadav for which Mondi Nani (Prakash Raj), Pappu's right hand, threatens Siddharth. A strife develops between Mondi Nani and Siddharth and the latter declares that his friend (Ajay) would be contesting in the next Assembly Election opposite Pappu Yadav. Siddharth and his team get accolades from the people for this decision and thus start campaigning. To cut the good-name of the group in the people and to win sympathy, Pappu Yadav conspires for a bomb blast allegation on Siddharth and Co. Mondi Nani works for him and the mission accomplishes. Pappu Yadav declares Siddharth and Co as terrorists and wins the election. Pappu Yadav becomes the Home Minister and his marriage settles with Vara Lakshmi (Trisha Krishnan). Siddharth, with the help of many college students kidnaps Varalakshmi from marriage hall in a dramatic sequence, demanding Pappu Yadav to let out his crimes before the court of law.Rest of the film shows Home Minister Pappu Yadav chasing Siddharth for getting his bride Varalakshmi back. ACP (Telangana Shakuntala) also assists him and spills a little comedy with her style of dialogues. The film has no twists and turns and major part goes with chasing aspect.Finally, how Siddharth puts an end to the game of crooked politicians has to be seen on screen.

After waiting for Shilpa, Vamsi goes to Shilpa's house to enquire about it. Aakineedu (Shilpa's father) puts him behind the bars on the charge of kidnapping his daughter. Seethamma Vakitlo Sirimalle Chettu is a complete family drama with a few commercial elements. The performances of Mahesh Babu and Venkatesh are the main attractions in the film. Srikanth Addala's brilliant narration and dialogues, Mickey J Meyer's melodious music, KV Guhan's beautiful picturisation are its other highlights. What the film lacks is the absence of lead actors' heroism and slow-paced narration in the second half. The movie narrates a simple and beautiful story, which revolves around a middle class family. The movie is all about brother sentiment. With his brilliant storytelling, Srikanth Addala has brought out the emotions between various characters in the family in a realistic way. The first half of the film is very interesting with few heart touching moments and songs. The second half is also good, but it falls short to catch up fast with the pace of the narration. Relangi Mavayya (Prakash Raj) is a gentleman from a small village Relangi and he believes in human values and relationships. He has two sons Peddodu aka Mallikharjuna Rao (Venkatesh) and Chinnodu aka Seetha Rama Raju (Mahesh Babu). Peddodu is an emotional guy and his maradalu Seetha (Anjali) is in love with him since her childhood. Whereas Mahesh Babu is a witty and charming young man and he falls in love with Geetha (Samantha), the daughter of Rao Ramesh. But Rao Ramesh ridicules Prakash Raj for his low wealth and this strains the relationships between both brothers. What happens next will form the crux of the story of Seetamma Vakitlo Sirimalle Chettu.
